This year’s symposium marks the fourth installment of a longstanding and fruitful collaboration between the Ramon Areces Foundation, the Spanish National Cancer Research Center, and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Jointly organized by the three institutions, the symposium continues to serve as a vital platform for strengthening scientific bonds, exchanging innovative ideas, and catalyzing collaborative research in the field of cancer.

Over the years, this trilateral partnership has exemplified the power of sustained international collaboration in tackling some of the most pressing challenges in cancer research. Through shared expertise, resources, and vision, this alliance has made significant strides in exploring new frontiers of discovery—each symposium building upon the last with renewed energy and purpose.

This joint symposium celebrates not only scientific advancement but also the enduring commitment of the three institutions to fostering a collaborative environment that drives research and innovation. As the global research community continues to seek transformative breakthroughs in cancer diagnostics, treatment, and prevention, the collective efforts showcased here highlight the importance of unity, knowledge-sharing, and perseverance in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
